kelly & chris’s up themed boardwalk wedding {disney fairytale weddings photographer}

kelly & chris has a super intimate wedding at disney’s boardwalk resort, complete with lots of brightly colored touches inspired by the movie up. we started their day with a first look & gift exchange, and then headed off to do some portraits before their ceremony at sea breeze point

kelly & chris had their very own adventure book from up to  hold their rings, and they both had a grape soda pin to wear, just like ellie and carl.

toy story inspired details on your wedding shoes? yes please!

after the traditional boardwalk wall & big chair photos, it was ceremony time!

after their ceremony, it was time for cake, champagne, and their first dance – joined by some very special guests who you’ll see in just a moment 😉

i swear, the adults are always more excited to see mickey & minnie than the kids 😀

after mickey & minnie headed home to check on pluto, we finished up with a few more portraits!

disney balloons = best balloons!

when tim proposed to teresa, he also surprised her with a trip to visit the wizarding world! she contacted me as soon as she found out, to book a #pottersession for their engagement photos. shooting newly engaged couples is such a joy – y’all know that i love couples who aren’t shy about being in love in front of the camera, and teresa & tim were a blast to work with!

epcot international festival of the arts {orlando food photography}

hello, 2017! i’ve been pretty busy so far this year, and january’s not even over yet! one thing i did get to do in a bit of my spare time was to visit epcot’s newest festival, the international festival of the arts. if you’re a fan of the food & wine festival and the flower & garden festival, you’ll definitely enjoy the festival of the arts. if you’re an annual passholder or you’re in the area between now and february 20th, the festival runs every weekend – i’ll be trying to go back at least one more time for sure! here are just a few of our favorite bites from our visit:

trio of savory croissant donuts (whipped herb cream cheese with sea salt, chicken mousse with fresh herbs & everything bagel seasoning, & spicy tuna with sriracha mayonnaise and sesame seeds), the painter’s palette – the spicy tuna was definitely the crowd favorite!

seared red snapper with braised ratatouille and lemon-thyme beurre blanc, cuisine classique – this was my favorite savory dish that we had hands down. you have to try this if you go visit the festival.

port wine poached pear, vanilla panna cotta and pistachio crumbs (left) & braised short rib with parsnip purĂ©e, broccolini, baby tomatoes and aged balsamic (right), cuisine classique – we loved the poached pears so much that we’re going to attempt to make them at home.

crisp caramel chocolate mousse bar, flavored meringue kisses and passion fruit sauce, decadent delights – if you like chocolate & passion fruit, this is a must try.

deconstructed purple sweet potato pie, salted caramel, bourbon-soaked cake and marshmallow whipped cream, decadent delights – this was my second favorite dessert (the poached pears won), but it was very dense and rich, so if you prefer lighter desserts it probably isn’t for you.

hopefully you all enjoyed this peek at the newest event in epcot’s festival lineup! if you want to see all of the food and beverage offerings, you can find a list right here.
