orlando perfect wedding guide just had their 2013 bridal show at the rosen shingle creek resort. a few of my friends are currently planning their weddings, so we decided to go check out the local vendors and get some ideas.
party flavors custom cakes was one of the first tables we stopped at – their cakes were not only stunning, but also delicious! seriously…look at those sugar flowers! i was also told by a friend that party flavors does a rum cake with pineapple filling that’s out of this world…now i want more cake.
i loved this simple menu wrapped around the napkin & flatware. i have a weakness for typography, i think.
this gorgeous ombre centerpiece was at the disney’s fairytale weddings booth. so pretty!
brace yourselves for an influx of photos of one booth & probably some gushing from me…peplum events & design had a table submitted in the table design contest, and when i saw it, i may have walked towards it at an unnecessary speed & squealed about it in a higher pitch than was probably required. i had never heard of peplum before but now i’m pretty much in love with everything jelli has done – and i definitely also told her that i wanted to live in her booth. not weird at all. hopefully i’ll get to work with peplum on a styled shoot or wedding soon!!
come on…black & white stripes (my absolute favorite)…and look at the tiny topiaries as place cards! all of the floral arrangements were amazing, too.
the table setup at their booth coordinated with their contest entry but definitely had some different, fantastic elements…the menus were on embroidery hoops!!
someone needs to tell me where i can get those black & white pencils…and tiny square business cards…
i also instantly recognized the cypress grove estate house‘s booth, flawlessly styled by sarah of 2+hue wedding design. now i want to have a strawberry shortcake bar at my wedding…or any wedding, really. pretty sure two of the other girls i was with agreed with me on that point.
these last two shots are of the table at the L.I.F.E. events booth…i wish i had gotten more shots of the details – those plums as place cards, with little flags, were one of my favorite details at any booth all day. sadly we were in a bit of a time crunch at this point…at least i got a few quick shots!
thank you so much to pwg & rosen shingle creek for putting on such a fabulous event! and thanks to all of the awesome new vendors i got the chance to meet – hopefully i’ll get to work with all of you soon!
looks good…
Thanks! It was a lot of fun!
