as you may or may not know by now, i’m one of the vendors for this year’s orlando notwedding, which is a bridal show alternative in the form of a ‘big fake wedding!’ the event is next week, and as one of the photographers, i was given the awesome opportunity to set up a styled shoot based on our inspiration board to showcase the work of some of the amazing vendors for the event. i immediately contacted the team at tres chic southern weddings, because i knew that whitney & her team are incredibly talented and that i’d be lucky to work with them, and luckily for me, they agreed to help plan the shoot! after some brainstorming and putting together some inspiration, we reached out to the vendors we were interested in working with for the shoot, and i couldn’t be more thrilled with how the whole thing came together!

the inspiration for the 2nd orlando notwedding is an international spice market, with hints of morocco & india and a warm color scheme. for our styled shoot, we decided to plan a bridal luncheon with a vintage travel theme to coordinate with, but not overly match, the actual event. we wanted this to be a day where the bride and her closest friends – probably her bridesmaids! – got to relax and spend time catching up before the wedding day. we included a candy bar & the tres chic team came up with some other fun activities for the girls to enjoy, including a mimosa bar, writing notes of advice to the bride-to-be, and pinning their favorite travel destinations onto a gorgeous vintage globe.
