here are a few more shots from jim & jen’s gorgeous wedding, as seen in part 1 here.

jim’s daughter emily (best name ever!) and jen wanted to do a picture with their tongues sticking out, and it took a little goading to get jim to join in, but i think the end result is pretty cute.

once again, thank you so much to jen, jim, and both of your families for inviting me to be a part of this beautiful and super fun wedding!

Emily- We love love love these pictures! We had such a fun time at our wedding, and looking back at these pictures reminds us of how great it really was. We have seen so many people have their weddings photographed in a way that really makes the whole thing look boring. But you were able to keep the pictures unique and interesting and show just how much fun everyone really had! You have such an artistic gift and we are so grateful to have had you be part of our most special day. Thanks again!

jim & jen part 1 {orlando wedding photographer}

Jim & jen got married in a beautiful ceremony at the radisson worldgate resort in kissimmee a few weeks ago, and i was lucky enough to be a part of their day.

on the table with the guest book and the table assignments, there was an amazing family tree with pictures of the bride and groom and their families, including some wonderful photos from family members weddings in years past.

the way the room for the ceremony was set up was beautiful, and according to the event planners onsite, it had never been done before at the resort. jen’s father performed the marriage, and there were plenty of touching moments, not to mention a few laughs.

we originally planned to take a quick trip to the animal kingdom lodge for portraits after the ceremony, but the torrential downpour (thanks, florida!) kept us inside, so we used the gorgeous ceremony location for some quick pictures instead.

of course while i was setting up the shot, i told the newlyweds to talk amongst themselves. this became my favorite memory of the day, because the conversation went something like this: “jen, now that we’re married, i have to tell you something.” “you have to tell me something?” “yes. i broke my toe last night.” isn’t that adorable?

there are plenty of shots i still need to share from this wonderful wedding…part two coming soon…

Emily did such a wonderful job on our wedding that we would highly recommend her for anyone’s special day. The pictures she took were exactly what we were looking for. She captured so many special moments that we are having trouble picking which pictures we want to hang on our walls! She was a pleasure to work with and we were impressed at what a hard worker she is. Before our ceremony began, she came to my parent’s home to take pictures of us all getting ready. I couldn’t have been happier when I saw the pictures she took and what a remarkable artistic eye she has. She was able to make even the smallest details look fantastic! During the ceremony and reception, Emily was continually taking pictures not only of us, but of our guests and our ceremony/reception. She has an eye for capturing special moments and was great at photographing candid pictures. Not only was Emily able to get all of the traditional shots that we wanted, but she was able to capture the whole ambiance of the wedding itself. What also impressed us so much was her ability to blend in with the guests while still taking pictures. She was not obtrusive in any manner, and this ensured that no one’s good time was interrupted by the taking of pictures. She represented everything that was so special and important about our wedding in her images. We were also very impressed with her professionalism and quality of work. When rain threw a monkey wrench in our bridal party picture location, Emily quickly found a good place indoors to take the shots we wanted. They too came out fantastic. I appreciate the way she was able to make our pictures interesting and tell our story. We can not thank Emily enough for her time, hard work, and kindness that she showed us. We can’t imagine having shared our special day with anyone else. We felt comfortable having her at our wedding, and even though we had never met before this event, we just clicked. We have already discussed how happy we are that we chose Emily to photograph our wedding and even though we live in New York, we can’t wait for the next big event to have her as our photographer. If you want a hassle free photographer who takes beautiful, creative and interesting pictures, Emily should be your number one pick. Thank you Emily!
