jessica & curtis…what can i say about these two, and about their wedding? as i’ve said before, jessica is like a sister to me, and her family is practically my adoptive family, and i couldn’t have been more thrilled to not only take a wonderful vacation with them (my first cruise!) but more importantly, to be a part of the wedding of such a wonderful couple.
{let’s not talk about how long it took me to blog this wedding…i think it was a combination of factors – it was my best friend getting married, there were photos to sort through from multiple days, and on and on the list goes. but! i’m ready now! just be prepared for a pretty long post for these two…it was a 7 night cruise, after all.}
on one of our days at sea on the boat, we spent some time taking portraits of jess & curt so we wouldn’t have to spend so much time on the day of the wedding…and also so jess could wear another on of her wedding dresses (i believe the final count of wedding dresses brought on board was 4).
the day before the wedding, in between all of the trivia we played and food we at on board the ship, we had a quick rehearsal for the wedding in the room where their reception would be. i also want to take this moment to mention how wonderful all of the crew members were who helped with the wedding (the coordinator, pianist, servers, etc.) – they were just as awesome as the disney weddings team who work on dry land. 🙂
ah yes, the traditional “threatening of the groom on the eve of the wedding.” 😉
i think one of my favorite parts of the wedding day is arriving at wherever the bride is getting ready. no matter where it is or what’s going on, it’s always a great place to be.
now that’s a kiss! <3
married!
i love this family 🙂
if you don’t know jess…she is a creature of grace and beauty. obviously. <3
this is why i love this family.
